Using this trick you can also check whether your all gamepad buttons are functioning properly or not. Now you are ready to play and your gamepad will start vibrating in all the games which supports vibration. It is one of the best budget gamepad which supports both X-Input and Direct Input. The best part is that this gamepad supports in all the latest PC games such as Fifa 17, GTA V, COD, etc. But, because of the improper driver, the gamepad doesnt vibrate. This prevents the user form pressing the wrong things at all, making the Invalid Input function useless. There is a workaround for this, however I cannot provide a download link for it. For some reason the Game Controller Settings-Properties panel doesnt always work, especially for joysticks with lots of axes and buttons. Currently it supports Joysticks with 8 axes, 4 POV and up to 128 buttons. I havent had a chance to test it with over 32 buttons so I would be interested to here from anyone who has such a device. Gamepad Vibration Test: Check Gamepad Is Working Or Windows 7 64 BitIt should work on XP upwards but I have only tested it on Windows 7 64 bit. Apart from the fact its unfinished, I dont generally give out source for current projects. I have however done samples for people to get them started, if I know what they are trying to accomplish. Gamepad Vibration Test: Check Gamepad Is Working Or Code As SomeI dont always find the best way to learn is looking at other peoples code as some people have bad coding habits, and while their programs may work, they may not be doing things correctly. Probably when they designed the interface they though no one will ever use more than 32 buttons As for the game I am not sure, have you tried other games I am sure DirectX supports 128 buttons, so it would depend on the gameprogrammer, how they access the controller, and how many buttonsaxis they want to support. It would be possible to provide the application code ve Searched the web but it is very difficult to find a suitable code. It is a virtual joystick driver that simulates joystick hardware. Please feel free to email me: Les at planetpointy dot co dot uk. I recently built a control input with 65 inputs for a set of flight sims but no software was registering anything above 32.Came across this and downloaded it after a number of other failed softwares and it shows all the inputs First time I have been able to test that my soldering is good enough. As this bit of software detects the buttons, the next step would be to adapt it to act as a keyboard emulator as well so that we can assign keystrokes to the buttons. The market is sorely lacking a simple 128 input controller interface software. I would definitely pay for such a program as I have tried all the other popular ones with no success.Would anybody know of such a software. While I know the GU controller properties page wont show all buttons, the actual commands should support all 128 provided by DirectX. I have never tested it though). Tested that all buttons are working and as I suspected, that pressing the home button on my joystick switched the d-pad and left joystick controls. Would it be possible to add a function so it continually writes the axis positions to a text fileCheers,Sam. You can find them with SetupDiGetClassDevs by specifying the HID usage to 0x05 for gamepad, where 0x04 is used for joysticks. Ill take a a look at it when I get a chance, although it may not be for a while as I am really busy with other stuff.
